I'm a marine biologist from 1968 onwards, currently working with crustaceans & having also skills on fungi, algae and molluscs. I started my research in Paris univ. & its main marine labs (Roscoff & Banyuls) and worked all my career for CNRS. My 2 thesis (1972 & 1979) were on shrimp pigmentation & biology. I have other subjects of interest such as citizen science [cf DORIS web site for instance @http://doris.ffessm.fr], nature conservation. I work nowadays in Paris-MNHN as a retired volunteer for INPN = inventory of French [european] species (see https://inpn.mnhn.fr).
